CCTV: Shoplifters steal spirits in two separate thefts from Morrisons on Station Road in New Milton





POLICE probing two separate thefts of spirits in as many weeks from a New Milton supermarket have released CCTV pictures of people they want to find.

Morrisons on Station Road was targeted in each of the shopliftings, with whisky stolen in one incident and vodka in the other.

Two men are being sought after two bottles of Jack Daniels were taken on Friday 23rd August.

This came after three bottles of vodka were stolen from the store on the morning of Saturday 10th August.

Officers want to speak to one man shown in a CCTV picture, who is described as white, about 6ft tall, of slim build, with short dark hair.

He was wearing a white or grey jumper, black or dark blue trousers, Nike trainers and carrying a bag.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.”

As well as witnesses to both thefts, and those who can help identify the three people, officers are keen to see any relevant CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage.
