Claude Bourbon to perform unique fusion of blues, jazz and classical music at Milford Folk Club
PERFORMING his unique fusion of blues, jazz and classical music, Claude Bourbon is set to appear at Milford Folk Club next month.
Hailed for his unique and talented take on a wide range of musical traditions, Claude is known throughout Europe and America for his amazing guitar performances that take blues, Spanish, and Middle Eastern styling into uncharted territories.
Claude’s inimitable style incorporates all five digits on each hand dancing independently but in unison, plucking, picking and strumming at such speed and precision that his fingers often seem to melt into a blur.
With diverse influences that include Paco De Lucia, Deep Purple’s Richie Blackmore, Joaquin Rodrigo, JJ Cale and JS Bach, Claude has played countless venues, including Glastonbury Festival, Isle of Wight Festival and Colne Great British and Blues Festival.
He has also shared the stage in Europe and the USA with countless musicians including Calvin Russel, Charlie Morgan, Jan Akkerman, Steve Grossman, Herbie Armstrong, Jose barrense Dias, and many more.
He will perform on Thursday 12th September at 7.30pm. Admission is £5 on the door or in advance from www.moscommunitycentre.org.uk
