Young Ewan Gwyer (15) seals first-ever Brockenhurst parkrun win
IT was a cool, calm, overcast morning for the 201 people who ran, jogged, and walked the autumnal Wilverley Inclosure parkrun course.
Among the field, 23 recorded new personal bests, while 59 took part in their first Brockenhurst parkrun, with six running in their first-ever parkrun event.
M15 Ewan Gwyer of Southampton AC was the first runner home, taking the line honours for the first time on his fourth Brockenhurst parkrun. He finished with a time of 18:03.
The first lady for the second time was W45 Janet Townsend of New Forest Runners, who ran precisely 22 minutes on her 15th Brock run and her 52nd parkrun, while W10 Lottie Irvine was the girl on her third run at Brock.
W75 Rosemarie Osborn set the highest age grade score, while Paul Loveridge set the highest male score – both members run for New Forest Runners.
