The hosts took the lead after 10 minutes with a brilliant header from number nine, Charlie Young. However, the lead lasted just three minutes when New Milton's Freddie Horlock turned the ball into the net.

A brilliant cross from Charlie Turner found Tyrell Sampson after 23 minutes. The in-form forward controlled the ball before completing a neat turn and firing home before the hosts levelled seven minutes when Young added his second.

New Milton took a 3-2 lead into the break when Sampson converted a spot-kick after Ollie Jenkins was upended in the box.

With five minutes left, Lucas Potts scrambled the ball home to level the match. However, New Milton kicked into another gear and pulled away. First, Joe Kimber scored with a free-kick, then Sampson lobbed the keeper to complete his hat-trick before Turner broke from 40 yards to complete the scoring.
