Royal Lymington Yacht Club announces law firm Steele Raymond as sponsors of the XOD Week 2025, an iconic regatta in the Solent sailing calendar




Royal Lymington Yacht Club has announced that law firm Steele Raymond has signed up as the new title sponsor for the XOD Week 2025, an iconic regatta in the Solent sailing calendar.

The regatta – now officially named the Steele Raymond XOD Week – will take place from Saturday 21st to Wednesday 25th of June. It is the cornerstone of the traditional keelboat racing season, drawing sailors from across the south coast to compete in the historic X One Design (XOD) class.

Steele Raymond, a leading full-service law firm based in Bournemouth, Southampton and Poundbury, brings over 40 years of legal expertise to the partnership.

“We are delighted to welcome Steele Raymond as our title sponsor,” said the captain of XODs, Jeremy Baker, from the Royal Lymington Yacht Club.

“Their support enhances the prestige of the XOD Week and reflects our mutual commitment to fostering community and sporting excellence.”

The 2025 regatta promises five days of compelling racing, complemented by a series of social events that celebrate the camaraderie and spirit of the sailing community.
