Waszp International Games and International Moth World Championship winner Hattie Rogers to speak at Royal Lymington Yacht Club dinner evening

Royal Lymington Yach Club will open its doors for a night with double world champion Hattie Rogers, who will be conversing with internationally respected sailing journalist Magnus Wheatley.

Rogers, a long-time member of the Royal Lymington Yach Club (RLymYC), will speak to invited guests and club members about her journey to becoming a two-time world champion.

One of the many topics will surely be Rogers’ preparations to defend her title at Lake Garda, Italy, later this summer.

Rogers was also part of the British team at the Youth America’s Cup. She was part of a star-studded 12-strong squad – which includes the Youth and Women’s America’s Cup squad – that boasted six Olympic and 22 world championship medals.

She is also the first-ever woman to win the world, European and national female WASZP titles in one season.

The evening will start with a conversation between Rogers and sailing journalist Wheatley, with questions from the audience and a supper to close out the evening.
