BLACKFIELD & Langley well and truly had the wind in their sails as they easily dispatched the Yachtsmen 6-1 to move up to eighth.

After a close first 45 that ended 2-1, the Watersiders pulled away in the second half, with the club's top-scorer Rafa Ramos firing a superb hat-trick to defeat Cowes Sports.

Player-of-the-match, Sam Woodward, got Blackfield off to a flying start with a ninth-minute goal before player-manager Fawzi Saadi doubled the advantage with a long-range strike in the 31st minute.

The Yachtsmen's Connor Furmidge kept the match alive five minutes later with a superb goal which flew into the top corner, leaving Stephen Hodder with no chance.

However, Blackfield were superb after the break, with on-loan striker Ramos coming off the bench to score a triple and move up to sixth in the league's goal-scorers chart.

Harvey-Joe Bertrand put the gloss on the win with a 90th-minute effort to secure all three points and a fully-deserved 6-1 scoreline.
