A gymnastics coach from New Milton has earned national acclaim for ensuring everyone has equal access to the sport.
Julie Jenkinson has been nominated for the Love to Move - Hazel Green prize at the British Gymnastics Awards, recognising her tireless efforts in using gymnastics to transform lives across Hampshire.
And with her name confirmed on the final shortlist, Jenkinson took the opportunity to express her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make it happen.
“To be recognised as a finalist amongst many other deserving deliverers is truly humbling. Thank you to those who nominated me,” she said.
“It has been a privilege to connect with so many participants of the Love to Move programme over the past few years and to witness their engagement and response. Quite simply, this is something I absolutely love to do!”
