Lymington's Cameron Glasspool wins Intermediate 13+ category in ScootGB UK Scooter Championship Final




A LYMINGTON-based teenager has shown off his impressive freestyle scooter tricks to win a ScootGB UK Scooter Championship final.

Brockenhurst College student 16-year-old Cameron Glasspool won the title after outperforming 37 other riders in the Intermediate 13+ category at Adrenaline Alley in Corby.

Glasspool’s category contained the most competitors, but he took the overall win with a score of 85.67, narrowly defeating Jake Faram (85.33).

Earlier this year, Cameron came third in the southern qualifier held at Rush Skatepark in Stroud to qualify for the finals.

The south performed well, with Bournemouth’s Jessica Jose winning the female competition with 88.67, ahead of Ruby Floyd (87.33).
