LYMINGTON Town raced into a three-goal first-half lead in cruising to a routine win over a Mangotsfield United.
The win lifts the south coast side to 11th in the table, with Dave Lewis and Paul Masters' men getting to grips with the new division and league survival already looking assured.
The hosts started the match dominantly, controlling the ball and fashioning chances, and they deservedly took the lead after a quarter of an hour when Ben Satterley ran on to a superb cross from the left before directing the ball past a helpless Jakob Glover in the Field goal.
Mangotsfield continued to try to find a way back into the game. However, Lymington extended their lead after 30 minutes when the player-of-the-match, Oli Dennett, outpaced his marker to set up Freddie Bullard, who converted from close range.
With the half-time whistle looming, 19-year-old Bullard effectively settled the match by adding a third to claim his brace. The young forward has enjoyed a tremendous start to the season as he moved joint-top of Lymington's goalscorers.
The typically organised Lymington Town came out for the second-half in cruise control, and they easily saw out the remainder of the match while holding possession for long periods while, in their frustration, the visitors resorted to overzealous tackling.
