BLACKFIELD & Langley secured their biggest win of the season with a resounding six-goal home defeat of Amesbury Town.

The hosts were in control throughout the match, and they fired three goals in each half, with the strikes coming from Dom Panesar-Dower (2), Wayne Robinson, Owen Fee, Ollie Connor and Diogo Almeida.

Player-manager Fawzi Saadi had his team ready to go right from the opening whistle, and it took only three minutes for Panesar-Dower to break the deadlock when a ball from the left found the goal-scorer lurking at the back post.

Robinson extended the lead with a brilliant curling free-kick from the edge of the area before Panesar-Dower claimed his double a minute later.

After the break, Fee showed his electric pace to outrun the entire Amesbury defence before tucking the ball into the bottom corner and past the keeper’s extended leg.

Blackfield had the match under complete control, allowing Ollie Connor to score his first goal for the club after ghosting in at the far post.

There was time for 16-year-old Jack Harris to come on for his first-team debut before Almeida punished poor defending with a quick finish with 11 minutes left.

The win keeps Blackfield in the top half of the table.
