BASHLEY'S remarkable run stretched to nine without defeat after a last-minute equaliser sealed a point against a determined Baffins Milton Rovers.
Red-hot Jamie Webber put Bashley in the lead with an early strike, but two Baffins strikes left the hosts looking down the barrel of defeat. However, a super-late Lewis Ross penalty earned a deserved point.
The first marker was laid by the home side when Ollie Bradley showed his strength and sped down the left flank, before a pin-point cross to the far post allowed Jamie Webber to drift in and head home.
With the dust just settling, Rovers' Rudi Blankson produced a remarkable solo effort to equalise after bulldozing his way through multiple tackles and unleashing a low swinging shot that caressed the near post.
Bashley responded immediately, but this time the visitors were ready despite the apparent domination of Bradley and Adam Grange.
With 25 minutes played, Blankson replayed the tape of his opening goal by going on a similar run that ended with a near-identical shot from the same distance into the same corner of the net.
As the match entered the final minute, Grange found space in the box before a poor challenge earned the Bashley man a penalty. As ever, spot-kick king Lewis Ross stepped up and made no mistake by blasting the ball past keeper Konrad Szymaniak to keep his side's run going.
