Ballard School athletes grab 27 medals at New Forest Schools Athletics Meet
BALLARD School athletes from Years 7 to 10 won a record 27 medals at the New Forest Schools Athletics Meet at Kings Park.
Winning both U17 relays, the U17 overall championship and the U17 girls championship, Ballard dominated the older categories against stiff competition from nine larger schools.
A special mention for Spencer Whitbread, who won three gold medals in the 100m relay, long jump and individual 100m.
Many Ballard athletes will now go on to the Hampshire county athletics competition.
