LEARN MOREA YOUTH and a parent were issued a police warning over illegal dirtbike riding in Ringwood.
Officers responding to reports of at least one youngster using the vehicle in the town caught up with those believed to be responsible.
Highlighting the danger reckless driving poses, a police Facebook post said strong words of advice and warning were issued to the youngster and parent.
They were told that if they were seen offending again, the bike would be seized and they would be prosecuted for road traffic offences.
“The illegal use of motor vehicles, including e-scooters, will not be tolerated,” the Facebook post said.
“Reckless and dangerous driving imposes significant risk on themselves, members of public and other road users."
