Poulner post office to close for six weeks

A VILLAGE post office is set to shut for six weeks while building work takes place.

The shop on Butlers Lane, Poulner, near Ringwood, is expected to remain shut from Tuesday 4th June until Thursday 18th July.

The nearest available branches during this time will be Parsonage Barn Lane post office and Ringwood post office on Christchurch Road.

Post Office spokesperson Antoinette Chitty said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.

“The safety of our customers is of paramount therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it is necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
