Two arrested after stolen bikes found at address in Bransgore




Two people have been arrested after stolen bikes were tracked to a Bransgore address.

Eight police vehicles descended on Meyrick Close on Friday afternoon where a man and a woman were arrested in connection with a burglary in Milford.

Officers were called at at 12.35pm that day to a report that a garage on Victoria Road had been broken into, with two mountain bikes stolen.

Police tracked the bikes – which had AirTags taped to their frames – to the Bransgore address.

Officers from Lymington and New Milton attended and found the bikes, which have now been reunited with their owner.

A 45-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from Bransgore, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft and handling stolen goods.

They have been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
