People invited to contribute to relaunched Plant a Tree scheme in New Milton

NEW Milton Town Council is again asking residents to branch out support for the environment with the relaunch of its Plant a Tree scheme.

Applications are sought from those wishing to dedicate a tree to a loved one or to celebrate an event.

They can choose a species and location from the council’s list and pay the stated fee for it to be planted and maintained.

A council spokesperson said: “We invite people to be inspired by nature, sharing their love of our green environment, and contribute towards planting a tree in New Milton, helping us to maintain our beautiful green canopy!”
