Joseph Geary of Totton admits assaulting police officer and damaging a vehicle

A TOTTON man was ordered to pay more than £1,000 after he admitted assaulting a police officer and damaging a vehicle.
At Southampton Magistrates' Court, Joseph Geary (34), of Testbourne Close, pleaded guilty to both charges which happened in the city in September 2021.
Geary was fined £500 for the assault. For the criminal damage, valued at less than £5,000, he was ordered to pay £200 compensation and a fine of £250.
He must also pay £160 in court charges.
