Cigarette thieves target Morrisons Daily on Longstock Crescent, Totton





A NEW Forest store has been targeted by thieves for the second time in two weeks.

Police were called to a burglary at Morrisons Daily on Longstock Crescent in Totton just before 2am yesterday (Monday).

A spokesperson for Hampshire police told the A&T: “Cigarettes and tobacco were reported as being stolen during the incident. Officers are investigating and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”

The store was also targeted on 19th August, with thieves having also made off with a quantity of cigarettes.

Police are appealing for witnesses to yesterday’s incident, as well as anyone who has CCTV or dash cam footage. Information can be given by calling 101, quoting reference 44240375838, or online here.
