The Super Brothers Catering to open new cocktail, wine and tapas bar on Whitefield Road in New Milton, the Super Brothers Arms
THE head of a catering company which has built a strong reputation locally is soon to open a new restaurant in New Milton.
Piotr Kacki, of Super Brothers Catering, will be launching casual dining eatery the Super Brothers Arms on the site of the former El Rico coffee shop on Whitefield Road.
A chef of 27 years, Piotr provides takeaway food and a catering service at weddings and private parties.
“It will be something very exciting for the area,” he told the A&T. “Having our own place is something we have wanted for a long time.
“It will be a wine and cocktail tapas bar which will be offering seasonal, local produce and a constantly changing menu.
“There will also be themed evenings, for example Spanish wines paired with local cheeses.
“We hope to use as many New Forest Marque products as possible and offer a menu of around 12 tapas dishes.
“It will be very casual dining where people can come and meet, have fun, and enjoy good food and wine.”
Piotr, who moved to England from southern Poland in 2005, trained for 10 years under renowned Michelin starred chef Pierre Chevillard at Pebble Beach in Barton.
“I would never be in this position without him,” said Piotr, who also worked at the Kings Arms in Christchurch. “He taught me everything I know, and I thank him so much.”
Along with wife Anna, Piotr is transforming the Whitefield Road premises in readiness for his big move. It is undergoing a makeover, with murals painted outside by well known Polish artist Waldemar Koralewski, who is now based in Bournemouth.
“We are very excited for people to see it,” said Piotr. “It is very different to how it was.”
Planned opening times are between midday and 10pm, Tuesday-Thursday, and from midday to 11pm, Friday and Saturday.
The catering and takeaway business will continue.
