Solento Lounge set to open on Lymington High Street in old Barclays Bank building
A new bar and restaurant is set to open in Lymington at the end of this month.
Part of the popular Loungers group, Solento Lounge will take up residence in the former Barclays Bank building, opening for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner - or just a drink.
A spokesman for the company, which has Arcado Lounge in Christchurch and Arboro Lounge in Ringwood, said it will “cater for all tastes” and offers kids, gluten free and vegan menus.
Opening on 29th August, it will also provide family-friendly activities, such as games, books and colouring pencils for “little loungers”.
The company says Solento Lounge will have “community and neighbourhood at its heart”, welcoming “locals looking for a space for regular catch-ups, meetings and events – everything from business networking, book or knitting clubs to parent and baby meets and life drawing classes”.
Gemma Irwin, head of community at Loungers, said: “We’re so looking forward to opening the doors of Solento Lounge in August. We hope our family friendly environment and top-notch food and drink offering will prove popular with local residents.
“We’re passionate about integrating genuinely into the communities we serve so we’re looking forward to meeting everyone and to playing our part at the heart of Lymington’s food and drink scene.
“Anyone looking for a space to host events or groups should pop in once we’re open - we’d love to hear from them and see what we can do to help.”
The firm is still advertising a raft of roles, from assistant manager to bar and waiting staff. Visit https://lounges.ats.emea1.fourth.com/stores/1006 for more information.
