Teen and man arrested as knife seized in police drug raid on property on Waverley Road in Fordingbridge




A TEENAGE boy was one of two people arrested when a police drugs raid uncovered a knife and other items at a Fordingbridge property.

Officers swooped on the address on Waverley Road to execute a warrant shortly before 6am yesterday (Thursday).

Having forced entry, they seized the blade along with several electronic devices, including mobile phones.

A 15-year-old boy and a 49-year-old man, both local, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

They have since been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.

Posting online afterwards, the local policing team said the raid “sent out another clear message that drug-related activity will not be tolerated in our communities”.
