Jordan Wilkes from Christchurch to face charges of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon at Bournemouth Crown Court




A MAN accused of attempted murder after a nine-year-old was stabbed in Christchurch has been remanded in custody.

Jordan Wilkes (28), from the town, appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court last Thursday. He is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

As reported in the A&T, police attended Glider Close after receiving a report at 5.45pm on Tuesday 20th August that the youngster had suffered stab wounds.

She was taken to hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.

Magistrates remanded Wilkes in custody until 5th September, when he will appear at Bournemouth Crown Court.
