MILFORD FC under 13s have signed a sponsorship deal with a new Technical Football Centre that aims to improve young footballers.

The Bournemouth-based TFC regularly hosts the improving young side, which is currently fourth in its age group Bournemouth Youth Football League.

Delighted Milford FC manager, Josh Mantock, said: “It is a great place for all footballers, great for exercise and improving technique and skills.”

“In our following games, our accuracy and shooting are improved and that can only be due to the players time at TFC. I highly recommend it to any team.”

TFC manager Zak Cherritt said: “It’s incredible to see that in just three months, the teams which are regularly training at the centre are reaping the benefits.”

The TFC is also sponsoring Bournemouth Youth Poppies under 12 team and is keen to work with more teams throughout the local leagues. The Riverside Avenue facility provides state of the art equipment which promotes intense training on player technique and fitness.

TFC development director Carly Toogood added: “TFC is probably one of the best football training facilities in the south of England; it has been incredible to see how many teams have been in and benefited from using this equipment.”

The firm is also exploring opening other centres at venues across the UK in 2020 and would like to speak to any qualified coaches interested in joining the team.

Free Open Evenings are held for coaches monthly and for more information visit www.technicalfc.com.

This article was amended on 20th January 2020 to update the team's league position.
