Christchurch shoplifter Aaron Clark told to pay less than £150 compensation for stealing over £240 of goods from town’s Lidl and BP garage stores




A SHOPLIFTER had to pay back less than £150 for stealing just over £240 of goods from Christchurch stores.

Aaron Clark (45), of Everest Road in the town, admitted taking six packs of Aptamil baby feed solution valued at £95 from Lidl on 17th August 2024.

He also admitted targeting the BP garage shop on 20th August and 13th September, stealing £94.65 of groceries and £51.15 of food products respectively.

A deputy district judge at Poole Magistrates’ Court ordered Clark pay the full values of goods stolen from the BP store as compensation. But no separate penalty was imposed for the Lidl theft.
