Concerns for missing man Ian Spalding, last seen near Christchurch railway station five days ago




THERE are concerns for the wellbeing of a Christchurch man who has been missing for five days.

Ian Spalding (44) was reported to have disappeared after last being seen near the town’s railway station between 2pm and 3.30pm last Friday.

People are urged to come forward if they know of his whereabouts.

Ian is 6ft 1in tall, of medium build, with short black hair and a grey, trimmed beard. It is not known what clothes he was wearing.

Insp. Jonathan Wasey said: “We are concerned for Ian’s welfare and we are carrying out searches and enquiries to locate him.

“I am appealing for anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please make contact with us.

“I would also like to make a direct plea to Ian if you see this to please get in touch with us or your loved ones and let us know where you are.

“We just want to check that you are all right.”
