RITA ORA is a star who really delivers. No miming for her, no shoddy dancing, no relying on special effects to boost her stage show.

Instead Rita gave fans exactly what they wanted: pure, brilliant entertainment. From the moment she rose through the floor of the BIC in a glittering white gown to kick off the second date of her Phoenix tour, it was obvious this was going to be a night to remember.

Stomping around in her Doc Martens Rita showed why she’s performed at Glastonbury, the White House and even the Vatican.

She is pure class and she really loves her fans. Rita interacted with them all night, encouraging them to sing along to her best known hits – not that they needed any prompting as at times the BIC resembled one big party with everyone up on their feet dancing.

Rita showed exactly why she recently scored her 13th top 10 single which was a record for a female artist.

Supported by the Four of Diamonds and Moss Kena, she went through her impressive song book with hits How We Do (Party), R.I.P, Poison, Sad Songs, Wish I Could Let You Me and I’m Coming Home.

The Phoenix tour is named after her latest album which was released last year and gave birth to five new singles which have been streamed over a billion times on Spotify.

If the music was not enough to please the crowd, Rita managed to change costume five times, almost seamlessly, turning in a neon coloured outfit, a dark black look and then rising like a phoenix complete with wings.

Perhaps what summed up the night most was the title of Rita’s song I Will Never Let You Down - which is what must fans saluted her for.

Rita lover Tia Madden said: “She was absolutely fantastic, the costumes were just gorgeous. Her backing singers were excellent and the dancers were amazing. It was a five out of five from me.”
