A RINGWOOD man who damaged a Covid protection screen at a hotel was ordered to pay £300 compensation.

Matthew James (55), of Avon Castle Drive, admitted one count of criminal damage at the Royal Bath Hotel in Bournemouth on 9th October.

Appearing at Poole Magistrates' Court, he was given a 12-month conditional discharge and also ordered to pay £107 court charges.
