Ringwood man Matthew James hit with £3,500 bill after assaulting woman

ATTACKING a woman cost a Ringwood man nearly £3,500 when he appeared before magistrates.

Matthew James (56), of Avon Castle Drive, had previously pleaded guilty to a charge of assaulting the victim by beating at Hammersmith and Fulham on 14th November 2021.

As well as fining James £3,200, the Poole Bench told him to pay another £275 in court charges.
