Signal fault causes disruption on South Western Railway between Brockenhurst and Southampton

A SIGNAL fault is causing disruption to rail users in the New Forest this morning (Friday).

South Western Railway says the problem between Brockenhurst and Southampton Central means trains have to run at reduced speed on the line towards Southampton.

A spokesperson said: “Train services running through these stations may be delayed. Disruption is expected until 11am.

“For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.

“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
