Hunt for man after racially aggravated assault in Mudeford




THIS man is being hunted by police investigating a racially aggravated assault in Mudeford.

The victim, a local man in his 50s, was reportedly racially abused and punched twice in the face after he challenged the man at around 5pm on Sunday 27th March.

He had asked the assailant, who was standing in the corner of a private car park with his dog, what he was doing there since it was private land.

The attacker left the area after a member of the public came to help the victim, who did not require hospital treatment.

PC Gemma Gumbleton, of Christchurch police, said: "This was a frightening incident for the victim and I am carrying out a number of enquiries to identify the man responsible.

"I would ask anyone who recognises the man pictured to please get in touch."
