The pub’s assistant manager Samm Weeks, who led the fundraising efforts, said: “We are so pleased to now have access to this crucial life-saving kit.

“We launched the fundraiser at our annual beer festival in June and held a raffle to help raise the funds. Our community really came through, with an incredible number of local businesses donating prizes for the raffle.

“We want to say a huge thank you to all of our customers for buying raffle tickets and donating, and to electricians Russell and Green who installed the defibrillator free of charge.”
