Presents reported stolen in The Haywain pub car park raids

CHRISTMAS presents were reportedly among items stolen when thieves raided several vehicles parked outside a Bartley pub on Monday night.

Police are urging people to come forward if they saw any suspicious activity around the time the break-ins took place, between 6.50pm and 7.20pm in The Haywain’s car park, off the A336 Southampton Road.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said only a bank card was said to be missing, but one victim posted on Facebook that gifts were taken from two vehicles.
