Police release CCTV image amid concern for missing Lynne Morrall who could be in Fordingbridge

POLICE have released a CCTV picture showing the last known movements of a missing Salisbury woman who could be in the New Forest.

Fears for Lynne Morrall’s welfare have been growing since she disappeared, and New Forest officers have shared the Wiltshire force’s appeal due to her links to the Fordingbridge area.

The 69-year-old was reported missing last Friday, and her family was said to be “extremely concerned for her welfare”.

On Monday evening, a CCTV image was shared, showing Ms Morrall having got off a bus in Salisbury city centre around 1pm last Thursday. She had travelled from nearby Downton.

She is around 5ft 6in tall, of thin build, with light-brown shoulder-length hair.

She was wearing a navy coat, dark trousers and black ankle boots, and carrying a distinctive light blue bag.

Those with information about her whereabouts should contact Wiltshire police by dialling 999, quoting log 306 of 22nd March.

* The images of Lynne Morrall have been removed after a body was discovered by police on Saturday 6th April.
