Police release CCTV images after more than £200 of alcohol was stolen from Waitrose in Stanford Road, Lymington




Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to after more than £200 of alcohol was stolen from a Lymington store.

The incident at Waitrose in Stanford Road occurred just before 8am on Wednesday 22nd November.

Police say the alcohol was concealed in plastic bags before being taken from the store without payment.

The male is described as approximately 5ft 4ins tall and wearing a council issued high-visibility vest.

A police spokesperson said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you have any information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”

Anyone with information should call 101 or report online via the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 444230477836.
