The incidents took place last Monday evening in the Fordingbridge Car Park at Round Hills and on nearby roads.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “The offender has used objects such as stones to break front windows of vehicles and then conducted untidy searches with gloveboxes opened, loose change stolen, as well as smaller personal items such as music tapes and other lower value items taken, with other property such as sat navs not taken.”

Officers have been reviewing CCTV footage and making enquiries in the area in a bid to identify the suspects.
