Fordingbridge man ordered to attend drug awareness course after police intercept cannabis delivery in the post




POLICE penalised a man for possessing cannabis after intercepting a suspicious package at Fordingbridge.

The parcel was seized at the town’s sorting office around midday on Thursday, which saw officers issue a community resolution to a local in his 50s.

This required he attend a drug awareness course.

Posting online afterwards, officers warned: “Ordering drugs online is illegal and puts users at risk from organised criminals groups whose business models are built around harm and exploitation.”
