AN application to demolish a bungalow and build two new homes in its place at 19 South Avenue, New Milton, has been rejected.
Applicant Sean Wilson told New Forest District Council the new dwellings would be "acceptable" in this area of town because it already has a "mix of dwelling types and styles".
But planners rejected the application to build the new homes, saying the proposed properties would be "incongruous and out of keeping" with the area's character.
