Jean Winn, of Ramley Road, Pennington, to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court accused of offences involving 33 dogs, two cats and 27 horses




A Forest pensioner is to appear in court accused of offences involving 60 animals.

Jean Winn (74), of Ramley Road, Pennington, has been charged with failing to ensure the needs of 33 dogs, two cats and 27 horses.

The offences are said to have happened between November 2024 and January this year, in Pennington.

Winn faces three counts of of failing to take reasonable steps to ensure the needs of an animal for which she was responsible.

As reported, more than 60 animals were seized in January when police and the RSPCA raided sites across Pennington, Sway and Lymington.

Winn will appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Friday 14th November.
