Paultons Park tops the table for fourth year running, says TripAdvisor
PAULTONS PARK has been named the UK’s number one amusement park by TripAdvisor for the fourth year running.
The facility in Ower, which is home to the hugely popular Peppa Pig World, also retained its place in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards list of top 25 amusement parks in the world, and moves up to eight best-rated in Europe
TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel platform, enabling 490-million travellers to browse reviews of accommodations, restaurants, experiences, airlines and cruises every month. It is available in 49 markets and 28 languages.
The list was compiled from the reviews and ratings of visitors on the website over 12 months, using an algorithm to determine the top 10 list.
These showed that 93% of guests who visited Paultons rated their trip as either “excellent” or “very good”.
Managing director of the park, Richard Mancey, said: “We are delighted and honoured to receive the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for the UK’s best-rated amusement park for four years running.
“As the only UK theme park to have received this award for more than two years in a row, we feel the award truly reflects the hard work, dedication and effort of our entire team, who strive to ensure that our guests enjoy the best possible experience when visiting Paultons Park.
“As the TripAdvisor award is based on visitor ratings and feedback, winning this award is of particular importance to us as it reflects the positive experience of the many thousands of happy guests who come each year to build wonderful family memories.”
Earlier this month, Paultons Park announced details of the forthcoming launch of an entire new themed world, Tornado Springs, set to open in May 2020.
It will cover four acres and introduce eight new rides and attractions such as Storm Chaser and a free spinning ride, which will be the only rollercoaster of its type in the UK.
Tornado Springs will become the fifth themed world at Paultons Park, along with Peppa Pig World, Critter Creek, Little Africa and the Jurassic-themed world of Lost Kingdom.
Paultons Park, which opened for business in 1983, covers 140 acres and has more than 70 rides and attractions.
