Firefighters release pair trapped in car which ploughed into a bush off the A31 near Ringwood




TWO people had to be cut free by firefighters after a car ploughed into a bush off the A31 near Ringwood in the early hours.

The alarm was raised at 3.15am on Tuesday, with reports the vehicle had careered off the eastbound carriageway, leaving the casualties trapped inside.

Local crews were assisted by Dorset counterparts as they released the pair within 45 minutes.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said no one was injured.
