Haul of drugs seized in police raid on home in Queensway, Ringwood
POLICE seized a haul of drugs when they raided a Ringwood home early this morning (Friday).
Responding to community concerns about drug-related activity, officers executed a warrant at around 6.40am to gain entry to an address in Queensway.
A search of the property uncovered a quantity of suspected class A, B and C substances which were seized along with other drug-related paraphernalia and mobile devices.
Officers arrested two people before later de-arresting them, with the pair due to be interviewed later at a police custody suite while enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire force said afterwards: “As a reminder, information that we receive from the community is vital and informs where we put our resources, while allowing us to take action against any illegal activity.
“If you, or anyone you know, suspects that an address in your neighbourhood is being used for drug dealing, drug-related activity or associated crime, then please report it to us by calling 101.”
