Pair arrested after drugs raid in Pound Road, Pennington

TWO people were arrested after police seized a stash of class A and B drugs in a raid on a Pennington property in the early hours today (Wednesday).

Officers executed a warrant around 3am at the address in Pound Road, where they located the substances.

Other drug-related gear and mobile devices were also seized.

The arrested pair was later de-arrested and were due to be interviewed at a police custody suite at a later date as enquiries continue.

A spokesperson for the Hampshire force said afterwards: “As a reminder, information that we receive from the community is vital and informs where we put our resources, while allowing us to take action against any illegal activity.”

Anyone who suspects an address in their neighbourhood is being used for drug dealing, drug-related activity or associated crime should contact police on 101.
