Cat & Fiddle pub at Hinton Admiral to reopen 28th April

A POPULAR pub on the Christchurch-New Forest border – currently closed for a £2m refurb – has announced its reopening date.

As reported in the A&T, the Cat & Fiddle pub at Hinton Admiral has been shut since last year, with an initial plan to reopen in January.

But an advert in February for a raft of jobs at the restaurant hinted the opening as being late April, with the brand changing from Harvester to Vintage Inns.

Now a Facebook post has revealed the date as 28th April, with a special VIP event the day before.

New, modern signage has gone up outside the A35 pub as work continues inside and out.

Customers have also been invited to lunch and dinner rehearsals on 25th April, with 50% off the bill
