One injured in crash at notorious Norleywood Crossroad in the New Forest

ONE person was hurt in a crash between a van and a car at a notorious accident blackspot in the New Forest.

Paramedic crews, including the Hampshire & Isle of Wight air ambulance, responded to the collision which took place at the Norleywood Crossroad, along the B3054, shortly before 10am on Monday.

The helicopter’s critical care team provided treatment to one patient at the scene, who was then taken by road ambulance to hospital.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said the casualty had suffered a minor injury.
