One casualty suffers ‘minor injuries’ after crash involving coach reportedly carrying 15 pensioners on A31 at Poulner, near Ringwood




ONE person was hurt in a crash involving a coach reportedly carrying pensioners on the A31 near Ringwood.

The incident happened on the westbound carriageway at Poulner shortly after 1.30pm yesterday (Sunday).

Police said the coach collided with the central reservation, while Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said another vehicle was involved.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.40pm yesterday (2nd March) after a coach collided with the central reservation on the A31.

“Minor injuries were sustained.”

An Hampshire fire service spokesperson said one casualty was handed over to paramedics before the incident was passed to a Hampshire County Council highways team.
