New open-top bus, Beach Breezer from Morebus, to take in Mudeford and Christchurch

A NEW open-top bus service is being launched for beach-goers to travel to seaside spots between Mudeford and Alum Chine.

Setting off from 27th May, Morebus’s number 80 Beach Breezer will take in Christchurch, Hengistbury Head, Boscombe Pier and Bournemouth.

It is among a number of new services for Dorset being promoted by the bus company during a special event at Poole Park on Good Friday (7th April).

Morebus head of communications Nikki Honer said: “We’ve listened to what our customers have told us they would like, in terms of bus services during the summer across Dorset, and we think they will be impressed by these changes.

“We are blessed with truly wonderful coastline and countryside here, and are expecting an exceptional number of visitors to the area for the summer season – especially now that more people are opting for staycations.”
