New Forest for Ukraine celebrates sending 50th van of aid

A CHARITY helping Ukrainian refugees has sent its 50th van load of aid supplies.
Volunteers at New Forest for Ukraine deliver food, toiletries, medical supplies and their own improvised trauma kits to Poland for delivery on to Ukraine.
Coordinator John Stanton said: “The shipment of our 50th truck of general aid, along with 2,000 trauma kits, is a huge milestone for our team.
“It couldn’t have been achieved without the ongoing support of the wonderful people in the New Forest and further afield.”
Mr Stanton urged people to continue making donations, including warm and waterproof clothing and pet and infant supplies.
