A EUROMILLIONS player in the New Forest is sitting on a cool million, possibly without knowing it.

The National Lottery is hunting the mystery winner after one of its 10 guaranteed UK millionaires in the the draw on 25th March failed to claim their prize.

Camelot, which runs the lottery, is urging all EuroMillions players in the area to check their tickets.

Each line entered is given a special code for the UK Millionaire Maker draw which makes 10 players instant millionaires. The winning code for this unclaimed haul is ZSCD 92906, and the winner has until 21st September to claim the prize.

Should the winner no longer have their ticket, they can make a claim in writing to Camelot – but this must be done by 24th April.

Camelot’s Andy Carter said he was desperate to find the ticket-holder: "This amazing prize could really make a massive difference to somebody’s life. We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again

“This prize is the only one left to be claimed from the special EuroMillions draw so try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."

If no-one comes forward before the deadline, then the prize money, plus the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
