Police deal with horse loose on the A338 near Breamore




NEAR-misses were reported as police dealt with a horse loose on the A338 near Breamore.

The drama unfolded this morning (Wednesday), with Fordingbridge officers joining a team working to remove the animal from the busy main road.

It was eventually guided down a country lane and safely moved into a field.

Posting online afterwards, local officer PC Bigland thanked all those who helped during the incident.

“Thankfully no one was injured and the horse was ok too,” the officer wrote.

“It had been loose since the previous evening and there were a few near-misses with vehicles so we were relieved to get it under control.”
